Chippewa Boots is the maker of a range of high quality boots.  Chippewa makes boots for almost everyone with styles ranging from motorcycle to western.  The high quality standards of this company have made Chippewa one of the top selling boot lines under the Justin Brands, Inc. family.

Chippewa Boots was started in 1901.  The basis of the company rested on the values and commitment to producing a quality and standard of boot that was the best in the industry.  Only the best materials and best construction methods have been used since the 1900s to make Chippewa Boots.

The first boot produced by Chippewa was a logger boot line.  Just as with every boot line since, these logger boots were made with simple, yet fundamental techniques that made them rugged and functional.  They were made with a triple leather midsole and hand plugged outsole spikes.  These boots played an important role for loggers, helping them as they were rolling logs down the river to the mill.  These boots helped the company to develop their reputation for quality within the industry.  From here the company started to expand their product lines and produce motorcycle, work, western and hiking styles.

Chippewa integrity is a strong part of this company and their products.  Only the best materials go into each boot that is made with innovative technology.  Chippewa has helped set industry standards and a move towards higher quality work and sport footwear.  The company continues to expand their product lines and provide customers with footwear that meet their needs.

Chippewa’s solid commitment to creating the best footwear possible has never wavered.  It is the different way of thinking that sets Chippewa apart from the rest.  When Chippewa creates a product, they do not just make a boot.  Chippewa builds a boot.  Every detail is designed with the customer and usage in mind.  It is a combination of the best materials and construction techniques.

Even today Chippewa still makes every boot by hand to guarantee the best possible end product.  Quality is never sacrificed for a quick profit and this is one point that makes this company stand apart from the crowd. If something is not right then the boot is not up to standard.  No corners are ever cut which allows Chippewa to produce one of the best boots in the industry.

With a century long history, Chippewa knows what they are doing.  Every boot made by Chippewa has the company standing behind it.  Every boot bearing the Chippewa name will stand up to the goals and mission of the company.  There are no exceptions and no boot will be sold under the Chippewa name without meeting the exceedingly high standards the company has set for its products.

Chippewa boots are made for everyone, everywhere.  Women and men both can enjoy Chippewa boots.  The boots are made with an easy conversion so women can enjoy the comfort and style, too.  Being the standard for quality in both western and work boot styles, it is no wonder everyone wants to wear Chippewa Boots.

Chippewa Boots are all about spirit.  They are about the spirit of this historic company.  They are about the spirit of using materials and techniques to create superior boots.  They are about the spirit of the outdoors.  Chippewa is a company that stands behind their product because they know they can say, without a doubt, that they produce boots that will take you on your next adventure, get you through a work day or move you where you need to go.  The slogan of the company says it all: Rugged as the land they walk, Chippewa. Live the Spirit.

Double H Boots: Built To Be The Best

To Double H Boots every product is considered more than just a piece of footwear.  This company puts 110%  into each and every boot they make. Double H Boots takes boot making to a completely new level by ensuring every boot is backed by careful choices in construction and design, as well as a strong commitment to providing the best quality boots. Double H Boots thinks on a grand scale.  Every boot is part of a process.  From the skilled workers in the factory, sales staff, marketing department, and every area of the company is part of the boot making process in one way or another.  With this line of thinking, the company has been able to create a way of making boots that goes beyond simple construction.

Double H Boots are made for everyday use.  They are built to be the best, yet with a level of comfort that makes you want to wear them day after day.  Each boot is hand made right in the company’s Martinsburg, PA factory.

American made products are often hard to find, especially those like these boots which are a great value.  The best part about this company is not that it is located in the United States, but the workers that make the boots.  Each worker has a sense of pride about their work and it shows in each and every boot that Double H Boots sell.

Double H Boots are made with innovative technology like:

  • Ice Constuction : A set of four components in the boot to make one of the most comfortable and supportive footbeds ever constucted.
  • QTS moisture management : This advanced Moisture Transport System allows odor, heat and moisture to be pulled from the surface of the skin, transported though a breathable hydrophilic copolymer and the evaporated to the outside.
  • Poron Shock absorbing material: Poron is a micro-porous polyurethane foam that offers more shock absorption that any other material used in insoles. Its resiliency prevents it from bottoming out or taking on a permanent compression set with use. The result is a maximum comfort for the life of the shoe.
  • 3/4 Opanka: It is all hand-sewn. Double-H boots are made by attaching the upper, the sole and the sock lining at one time with double needle stitching. This creates the flexibility of an unconstructed moccasin. The sole is made of polyurethane making a flexible shoe more stable and shock resistant. Within the sole is a concave area at the ball of the footbed.
  • Dryz : An innovative insole system that absorbs moisture and converts it into a dry gel within the insole of the footwear. As a result, the insole absorbs all moisture from perspiration all day, yet remains dry to the touch.
  • Steel Toes : Compression and impact testing determine the impact that the steel toe will absorb.  A classification of I/75 means the toe will absorb up to 75 pounds of impact.  C75 means the toe offers constant load protection of up to 5,500 pounds of pressure.

Double H Boots, long  known for a lasting tradition of giving boot wearers what they need.  You will find the styles and designs that you want when you look at the boot lines from Double H Boots.  The fashion forward styles are made to suit any taste and need.  With style, quality and value wrapped in one, you will have no problem finding the perfect boot when you shop for Double H Boots.

June 15, 2009 by rockytopleather

Twisted X boots lives by this motto, “We’re cowboys offering real cowboy boots to cowboys. We’re not another western boot brand designed and developed by shoe people. Our team has a gazillion years experience in the boot business and we’ve got this deal figured out. We’re making ‘em right.”

The technology inside and outside of the Twisted X Boots gives you a more stable, durable, lightweight boot. It breathes as it should, to allow dissipation of foot moisture. And the comfort factor is one you just need to feel for yourself.

  • SD Footbed – Moisture wicking, antibacterial and machine washable – (Keeps your feet from stinking so much and adds cushioning to dissipate concussion.)
  • XSD Insole – Patent pending one-piece insole with injected composite X shank for maximum stability – (Keeps you from twisting an ankle, or losing your balance.)
  • Midsole – Rubber – (Adds some bounce to your step for less tired legs at the end of a long day.)
  • 50K Outsole – Genuine super slab rubber – (Adds some more bounce to your step for less tired legs at the end of a long day and gives good traction on the ground surface.)
    • Attached Heel – Long base heel 4″ (men’s), 3.5″ (women’s) – (Better grip to catch a good hold. Your rubber heel also absorbs much of the shock of landing your foot on the ground.)

But motorcycle and scooter riders are not the only ones that need to protect their head with quality Scorpion helmets. In the winter all over the North and in the Rockies thousands of people are riding snowmobiles for work and recreation. These individuals need to wear helmets not only to protect themselves in case of an unforeseen accident but to help keep them warm as well. Also full-face helmets will protect the rider from cold winds, which can quickly frostbite their face when they are riding in the cold.
